With Coach Leaving, Enclave Runs No Longer

The Enclave, the Georgetown-based program that was one of the nation's premier track 
powers, is officially gone.

After months of unsuccessfully seeking a title sponsor to replace Reebok, which 
withdrew its support in November, Coach Frank Gagliano is leaving to coach the rival 
Nike Farm Team at Stanford. A few of the Enclave's most talented athletes will go with 
him, and two of its brightest stars from the past decade are planning to leave the 
sport.
