Wheeler, Jorge Torres win Shootout crowns

Two months ago Colorado senior Kara Wheeler was racing the top U.S. distance runners
in the U.S. Olympic Trials 5,000 meters.
For those of you interested, Colorado beat Western handily in the second
half of the race, but Western was without three of their top five. At
full strength Western would have given CU a very tough battle. Western
would certainly be a top-5 team in DI. CU's surge in the second half of
the race
ah, you were there as well, mr. talbot? were you referring to the men's or the
women's race? is buck redshirting (along with aish) as his entry in the open men's
race might indicate?
