I've used the not: prefix before to indicate that an object seen from
sat imagery was not what the previous contributor thought it was.
I guess not:brand:wikidata means that the brand doesn't correspond to
I would say if a shop is called the same as a brand, but is not part of that
brand. The not: prefix is often used to mark a negative statement, in the hope
that another mapper will not make some kind of mistake (such as adding
brand:wikidata blindly based on the name tag).

Prefix not:*=* used for prevention mistakes. In this context, wikidata
entry from not:brand:wikidata=* in irrelevant.
