Like to know how to install

When I download the binary for the installation of the jakarta
taglibraries I do not get a jar file. I get a build.sh file and some
documentation stuff. Do you need to have the source in order to make the
jar files for the tag libraries. Are there any other tricks that people
have run into during installation that a person who is just starting the
installation might need to know. If so, send the tips along. Thanks much
