Just guessing, but maybe its a PHP.ini, change? Do you have access to the
old and new PHP.ini? Maybe just run diff against them (or the output of php
-i if there really different
Do you have a sample code snippet and the expected we can try?

backward incompatible changes made to strcmp(). Are you sure strcmp() is
the culprit?

Did strcmp change is 5.3? trying to fix 5.2.5 to 5.3.8 issues strcmp seems to
be at the source.
