Hi all
Can anyone suggest why control+s no longer opens the "save playlist"
dialogue in winamp?
Control+j and control+o still work, so I'm completely mystified.

Hi,
Agreed, I haven't had the experience of a folder being created simply
because you rename a shortcut by removing the hyphen and the word Shortcut.
Thanks anyway,

Hi Bud,
You can display file extensions in Windows 10 by opening any folder, and
pressing Alt-V, and then pressing H and then F.
You only have to do this once and the new view setting will apply to all
folders until you change it by performing the same keystrokes once again.

no way, it works fine in my windows ten pro 64 bit system, though, if
outdated, it only means it has not been modified, that's all since it
works fine. There are issues as with any email program, such as the SSL
certificate issues, but they can be overcome.
take a look at the web page

speaking of shortcuts on the desktop, one thing I learned not to do in
windows 10 is to rename a shortcut taking the word "shortcut" out of the
name, because if you do this, it creates a folder with the same name and
puts whatever was at the previously named shortcut location in that
folder. So, if

Money Talks from APH works on Win 10. The only complaint I have is that you
still have to import CSV files to balance your register. It would be nice if
they updated it to use the files most banks support.

Hi.
Regarding a hotkey to read the contents of the clipboard, I remember
working with a Window-Eyes app called SayClip which provided a hotkey
for this purpose. However, this would only read copied text and not the
names of files.

Well, Rod, I really didn't think so, but when I selected a different corner
of the screen, it did disappear. And I've been aware of that possibility
for some time, but, of course, it couldn't happen to me don'tCha know!
Thanks,

Have you tried alt+down arrow? Then while on the selection, of your choice,
hit enter. You can also try whil on the selection of your choice, routing
the mouse to hit and left clicking right there. Amazon is a crazy site for

Hi,
Perhaps you can eliminate this by routing your mouse pointer to one of the
corners of the active window to get it out of the way, since I think it's
hovering over the zoom control.

I've just recently noticed a problem - I am unable to open and read

I've tried using right arrow; I've tried using the alt-enter keys. I can
arrow down and tab away and back to hear the selection, but,
Hi Ric,
Just my 2c suggestion. One of the most lacking program category is a good
stand-alone database with good export/import facilities. Perhaps if you look
to www.azzcardfile.net you can have a good idea and perhaps create an
alternative.
