Check the status of the ScrollLock key. If ScrollLock is on, your cursor
will be stuck in one position. You should be able to use the regular cursor
keys, and this is sometimes why they don't work.

A friend has sent me an excel file 2010. He is unable to read the contents of
the spreadsheet using the up.down.left and right arrow keys. I was able to read
the spreadsheet with the numberpad. Which he was also able to do. He could not
