with me i have to turn auto load and browse mode off before i open the bookmark list with control i or else w e will hang for about a minute before i can do anything else. *** use control i then the bookmark list will stay opened. then you can go through the list and delete them with the delete

Donald, this might be a slightly indirect way of resolving your issue, but when I encounter it, I simply exit W.E. and restart it by pressing the 'CTRL-ALT-W' and all seems to work well after this. Wish I could give you a better solution but I haven't found any as of yet. Good Luck & Have A

Jed, Here's a few suggestions. first, never turn on browse mode in a composition window. that puts it in a strange state and you have to close and reopen TB to get it back to normal. Make the following changes. Alt-T Tools, O Options. Arrow down to Advanced. Tab once and make sure you're on
