Loy, try Insert-Dash on the numpad row of keys. That's the same key used for the Window-Eyes Mouse Pointer. Then you move with Insert-4 and 6 back and forward. Sometimes it's not consistent;when that occurs, trying routing PC to Jaws, insert-Enter. You do this with the NumLock off of course.

That is essentially what I did. However the control-alt-w hot key to start Window-Eyes will still work once you have JAWS as your primary screen reader at start up. I just close JAWS and then start up WE whenI wish to use it. Barbara -Original Message- From: Talk

I am trying to download the Expressive Voices for JAWS. It says it will take 3 hours and 45 minutes. Has anyone else experienced such slow downloads at VFO. I have fast Internet. I have been trying JAWS and so far I HATE it, after using Window Eyes for so many years, it seems so clunky.

It's fine to have as many screen readers installed as you want as long as you only have one launch at start up. Launch the JFW installer with WE running because it doesn't start talking until you hit the Next button in the first dialog. Then close WE and continue. Good luck, Tom On 7/29/2017
