Thanks for the suggestion. That checkbox was already checked.
I'll get my tech support guy to help me get updated to the latest
version and do some more testing/debugging to figure out what's going on.

If your problem is still not solved, you can try the following:
Go to Tools, General.
Go to the tabcontrol Message view.
Press shift-tab until the option:
Forward as HTML
If it is unchecked, check this option.

probably I have lost something here. But please, what is your issue? You
have got trouble with newest Thunderbird? OK, but could you tell us what
exactly you are experiencing, it might be possible for us to advice
where the trouble nests.
