Hey Nick,
Yep, he used tandom to repair Jaws.
Then someone on another list said you had to do this small Jaws update
from the VFO page and not from the update function in Jaws.

in - you may just need to go the the VFO w
Hi Brenda, curious - did he fix the problem remotely or did he walk you
through the steps? Because of my lack of computer savy, I'm a big fan
sharing my computer with a tech person.

Also, how do I tell Thunderbird to delete all read messages after a
certain amount of time? Can't seem to find that option, either. Thanks
in advance.--Matthew Chao

Hi, I usually turn off html composing, set messages to open in a new
tab, and disable the start screen from Thunderbird. Beyond that, most
other settings should be fine and totally user preference. Oh, and of
course with the recent versions of software, turning message threads.
One last thing,
Thank you Raul for that info.
Are there any TB settings that will make Jaws and TB use as optimal as
possible?
thanks,

Hello, the part about jaws not reading message headers in Thunderbird if you
are not in threaded view seems to be something recent. I don't know if it is a
jaws bug or if it is something which recently changed in Thunderbird 52. So for
now changing it to thread view is the only way I have found.

getting a lot of experience on lately.

to read the titles unless thread
