Apparently, Dell has been shipping keyboards for quite a while without the Num Lock key. The folling is a link to a posting about this issues dating back to 2012 and lasting for two years. However, there was never a satisfactory answer for toggling the function. http://en.community.dell.com

Hi: OK, so we can either set the applications key function using auto hot key or use shift and f10 and that is ok. Now, why not have a WE setting in the control panel to lock the num lock setting and perhaps a hot key combo to toggle it? Using the f10 key would then become the default WE
