That is the synthesizer doing that and nothing can be done on Window-eyes.
For the record NVDA does the same thing with platform.

I think that these things are hard coded into the synthesizer. That
is why I am sticking to Espeak. It sounded annoying at first, but I
have gotten used to it. It sure beats having to listen to those
annoyances that you mentioned.
