Is the sound App you have installed compatible with Window Eyes 9? I would
first disable this App to see if this is the issue, if not, I would do a
reinstall!

check that the keyboard interuptability is not turned off. with me it turns
itself off several times per week without me doing anything. and if you
happened to save a set file change while this is happening you may of saved
the keyboard interuptibility while it was off too.
