Hi Rod: Wish I was done but I found the hybrid optiion someplace in a list of dialogs and list views and tree views via the control panel. Hi Rick, Just FYI, I myself and many many others use sleep mode all the time in Windows 7 and 8, without any particular problems. If you are having problems when you do this, in my opinion it's very likely to be caused by a driver which doesn't support stopping and restarting its device properly

hmmm, I was working on a laptop for a friend, and going out of sleep mode was a mess, the screen was black to the person and WE would usually work, but you had to fool with it, maybe hit control and tab or shift tab to get the cursor into the password field or sometimes you would have to reboot. W
