Hi Keith, I believe I responded on this Insert key layout issue. >From my testing, you have two options. 1. just toggle browse mode on/off with control-shift-a or insert-z. 2. turn off auto form interaction. In browse mode control-slash toggles auto form interaction.
This only seems to be an issue on pages where the site moves focus to the control such as on google.com where the focus is moved to the combo box. Other sites that force focus to edit boxes will most likely do the same. I did note that one person failed to reproduce this problem in that other thread. Isn't software an interesting thing? Especially something as complex as a screen reader?
