I suspect you're probably upgrading from a much earlier version of
Window-eyes? the assending piano sound has been around for awhile now,
so that's probably what that is. these aren't beeps, this is an
assending chord, to indicate that window-eyes is starting. there's also
a decending one

-- try starting WE again -- not rebooting and see if things work better.

Hi: I use the logon screen when booting or ReBooting.
WE and Windows10 seem to take much, much longer to boot up and get WE
speaking at the login window.
When the window does come up (with the female voice) tabbing around or
trying to type is very, very slow, even much slower than it was under my o
