Just pointing out the obvious here - in case anyone isn't aware.
Google now supports crowdsourced mapping with the MapMaker tool, so
it's totally possible that either:
- a member of the public mapped it legitimately
- a member of the public mapped it by copying
Ok I've just spotted somethingit appears Google has added a couple of
trails onto their bicycling maps layer that only appear on OSM...nowhere else.
Namely the trail called Follow Me in Lysterfield Lake Park in Melbourne but
probably all the others too..
Is this an issue?

Perhaps we could turn on the opencyclemap background and trace for areas not
covered by bing? It always takes a while to update so maybe we have a window of
opportunity? Maybe this only works in potlatch? Anyway just a thought, would be
great if it worked
