Hi Colm,
Did a reply ever go back to Peter with regard to this?
If they'd be willing to release the data under ODbL then that would be
great.
Rorym mentioned Public Domain, but I'd doubt they'd release it under that.

I'll be in Bangladesh again sometime around late July or early August.
I dont know exactly when yet, no flights booked.
Are any of you interested in having an osm-bd meetup?

Hi Keith,
This looks good.
I particularly like the fact that you're using Open Street Map in the
display, but I need to point out that our license has changed, so it's no
longer cc-by-sa, we're now using the open database license (odbl).
More information about the license change is here:
I've been keeping an eye on http://2013.stateofthemap.org/ for footage, it
still says it'll be 'available soon' and 'online shortly'

I will be giving a short presentation on the Humanitarian

Hi All,
As some of you may be aware, OSM is changing to a new license, and new
Contributer Terms.
This presnets a chalenge in terms of users that have not responded, or have
rejected the new terms.
As of April 1st, any data that hasnt been relicensed will be removed.
April 1st is a hard deadline

The possibility of haing a bounding box around areas such as these was

Any thoughts, comments, or points?

Hi Dave,
I realise I am dragging up an old thread, but I have just recently gotten
back from 3 weeks in Bangladesh, and am getting myself back into doing OSM
stuff after a bit of a gap.
There is a talk-bd list, and I am hoping to get momentum going on it again.

Hi,
I scan maps.
Not in a sophisticated way.
It's something I'm just starting on.
I am setting up a WMS server for the maps I scan.
So far I have about 30 1910's era 6 inch and 25 inch maps, and I'm
scanning bit by bit.
The server isn't up yet, but it's getting there.

What Dermot is saying with regard to the edits this user made in
Ireland is correct.
This users editing was careless, ignorant, and whimsical. I have yet
to decide if it was malicious.
I think It may be a good idea to contact contributors in Iceland
