Excellent work! Congratulations to those involved!
Hope my partial completeness of some bits hasn't confused anyone.
Noticed a cul-de-sac missing which I'll report of OpenStreetBugs.
I suppose that's the next stage: getting people to reports errors and
improving upon what's there.

Only thing is tangogps is not in Ubuntu Hardy repositories, might be in
for Intrepid (due out this month).
gpsd, gpsbabel, gpsdrive are all in repositories...

Excellent, thanks!
I've a 901 and have used a similar process previously.
For those who, like myself, are using a Debian derivative (actually
using a Ubuntu based distro optimised for eee) simply replace yum with
apt-get.
Cheers

I can imagine the result of the Welsh mapping party would be quite
amusing...

OK, my BGT-31 arrived today so did some testing of it after work (which
got cut short by a drawing pin in the front wheel).
Unfortunately for me, although I'd put the SD card in I'd forgotten to
turn on logging so have only the internal log at 10 seconds.
Eventually got gpsbabel 1.3.5 installed

On wiki [1] there's a link to amazon where osm gets

I never really did anything useful with this. Also missing some when I
gave up leaving my computer on.

I'll have one of them! Or 'surveyor' will do fine.

Not sure I can come along to this one but will text you, Andy, on the day.
I'll see if I can get a decent picture of the new St. Chad's Circus when
I'm in one of the buildings for my driving theory test on Friday. Floor
18 so should be high enough. :)

Awsome, thanks!
I've been using JOSM so far (was no Potlatch when I'm joined and JOSM
kind of stuck) but have been starting to use Potlatch for really minor

A little hasty? The import appears to be stuck very near the end. See
here: http://dev.openstreetmap.org/~daveh/tiger/stats.html
Still a cool thing, nontheless.
They don't mention the change to 0.5. Gettin

Excellent!
I've started adding Welsh names of places I know.
There's a lot of 'name:cym' keys. Is it possible to change these all at
once in the DB or shall I continue seeking them out myself?
