Ushahidi is free to just use this as an extra input/and-or/output channel.
It is clearly not the mission of OSM to handle this kind of content.
Assuming that OSM would be available on a smartphone, this appeared like
a very simple way to add valuable information input and output on the map.

Is there a (human) email address where people can forward reports from
OSM, as a quick temporary solution ?

To add a report, click at the desired spot in the map.
In this experimental phase, it can be used for any need that seems relevant.
