water:tidal:height=4(flooded by tides > 4m above datum)
water:seasonal:dates=09/01-03/31(flooded September 1 - March 31)

Good idea.
Afterall the road/route is always there (ie. not
intermittent), it is just not passable with normal vechiles.

I think some variation on the access tag make more sense, if only

Hi all,
I'm going to tag quite some roads in south africa. In a latitude where the wet
season makes 40% of the road network non-drivable.
I'm thinking about using "highway=track; water=intermittent" for this kind of
roads, given the fact that "water=intermittent" is proposed for intermittent
