Hi Tanveer, Speaking from a CloudMade perspective, we went with Garmin IMG because its the most popular type of hand held GPS device in the UK/EU. Is the situation different in India - what are the popular devices there? If there is enough demand CloudMade can support other formats as well.

I am a recent user of openstreetmap, and map the Delhi, India area. I was going through the data, and the wiki, and it seems that if you have a garmin GPS, OSM data is useful, as cloudmade and others provide img files, and you can create your own , however if you have other software like
