Hi Dave, The Danube Cycle Path (Donauradweg) is arguably one of the best in the world. Here is a camping site for cyclists near Linz: http://osm.org/go/0JhPQJjmt--?m= . As you can see the camping site is mapped with an address and a name. There are such camping sites every 40 - 50 kilometers.
