IMO there is one very important feature to be mentioned: The validator plugin. It is way too easy to enter "bad" data with Potlatch. JOSM will tell you when you try to upload unconnected ways or non-closed area, etc. With potlatch, you will never be told something is wrong unless you keep an eye on keep right! where you see what's wrong a few days later.
