Hey all, Some work went in earlier to import a number of geelong roofprints, and I got to talking with the data provider, Martin, about data sets that might be of interest to the community.
I've just spotted: http://data.gov.au/dataset/7014a203-2e73-46f8-87b6-09e29172bb08 You can see most of the roads in Geelong are well named: http://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=highways&lon=144.38091&lat=-38.12222&zoom=11&overlays=name_missing_major,name_missing_minor,name_fixme There's a lot less data for minor roads: http://www.itoworld.com/map/124?lon=144.34969&lat=-38.15224&zoom=11 Presumably a lot are the default. Interestingly, the data set contains *One Way*, *Cycle* and *Truck Route* flags as well. It would be a big deal to import all of this by hand or even script a bunch of it, so perhaps cleaning up the primary and secondaries would be an easier starting point (and most useful for routing): http://www.itoworld.com/map/125?lon=144.32227&lat=-38.15209&zoom=12
