This is exactly my point and gets back to another thread from a few weeks back regarding tagging schools and the sometimes multiple uses that each building can have (ie after hours classes, church groups on a weekend etc etc). From memory I believe that discussion was resolved by tagging start/end

Not sure I like that option Steve as it implies that the recreation_ground is only a showground. I prefer the landuse=showground option and then, if there is an oval that is used for recreation within the showground you tag that accordingly ie leisure=pitch, sport=*. In the end it comes down to th

How have people been tagging show grounds? Some show grounds can be tagged as landuse=recreation_ground however there are some cases when they aren't used for recreation. The one I am thinking about is the Bendigo show grounds which hosts markets, the Australian Sheep Show etc Any suggestions? Crai
