Thanks, The Aboriginal Lands data is an interesting dataset, because in Canada's CanVec data it's only available as points, but through a separate arm of The federal government, the polygon data is available throuh geobase, just as the National protected areas are available in a separate dataset

Hi Sam, You might find this site interesting. Found it yesterday. I am interested in adding mine locations for Australia to osm using the data from the Geoscience Australian Atlas. http://www.infomine.com/maps/ Note not all data sources would be suitable for osm use. Regards, Markus_g
