They all sound very useful sources of information
It would be a pity not to do something with them
btw i haven’t had time to do mapping for some months now due to work
commitments/overload but I hope to get back to co cork next week :)

still at correcting a tile for cork co. [which is taking so long as roads etc
are v misaligned and streams missing ] but not sure how to add bridges
correctly - i split at the two nodes that define the bridge , add bridge tag
and then should i also tag as layer = 1?
hopefully will be able to
thanks :)

Hi all,
i read that you can only edit map on the sheet that is downloaded (part that
does not have the hatched lines) so wondered what to do when townland crosses
over on to more than one sheet ?

Hi Caroline,
Can you give a bit more detail.
What editor are you using? What square are you referring to? Is this
something in the HOT Tasking Manager? What's your OSM username?
These bits will dictate the answer to your issue

Simply do what you can, when you can, and aim to keep your local area up to
date. Anything else is a bonus

is it ok to be an ‘armchair ‘ mapper and should i be using bing for correcting
maps?
