Hello Everyone,

I am interested in importing buildings in a rural county of Ohio (about
42,000 features). These outlines were provided to me by the county with
permission to share with OSM. I've created a basic map to view the data
here: https://arcg.is/0m4Dm0 and you can download the source data here:
http://www4.co.union.oh.us/propertyinfoFiles/footPrint.zip with other
layers open to the public here: https://www.co.union.oh.us/gis-data

I've read through the wiki and cautionary information on imports so this is
my first step in reaching out to the OSM community for guidance on this
project. Fortunately as a rural county there does not appear to be that
many areas of conflict with current buildings and it could be potentially
imported piecemeal with QC of each portion. I look forward to working with
you on this and I'll also be jumping on the US Slack group for further chat.

Next steps:
1) Get a signed letter of permission from the County. I currently have
positive email confirmation.
2) Linking up with a mentor to help me with this process
3) adding the datasources to the Wiki
4) Planning the project and ID potential issues

Thank you,
