Ben,
I could not find the map with the French style, I do like the rendering of
the highways in the German style (
http://mc.bbbike.org/mc/?lon=4.32983lat=51.15654zoom=11num=2mt0=mapnik-germanmt1=mapnik
)
The look reminds me of the old days with maps from Falck

Bart,
I see exactly the same when I do the knooppunten. It seems as someone
with a bike surveyed the area, but no foot survey was done yet
We are on our way back from SOTM. We have had lots of conversations
here with people and specifically with Christian Quest about his great
openstreetmap.fr http://openstreetmap.fr map style. It shows a lot
more data like pedestrian crossings, shops, sports-related stuff and
many many more
haven't been updated in years and seem
to be somewhat outdated.
Regards,
Stijn

Due to renovation work on the house, I'm a bit saturated at the moment. I

Merci Brice/eMerzh!
Check out the different tabs, there are some interesting graphs
Thanks for the update, Jo. Success with the renovation. Do not forget to
update the building outlines in OSM when the renovation is over :-)

As for me I am working on the GR paths and other hiking / walking routes in
my neighbourhood. There are still many of this little paths missing because
only pedestrians can access them.

cases new paths were made available for the knooppunten.
Daan,
I hope you are fully recovered from your bike crash operation.
Have fun with
