You'd probably get more accurate answers by asking on the Nominatim list.
AFAIK it uses Codepoint Open, but I have no idea if this gets refreshed
regularly, see

It is something that will need looking at, can someone look at the Derby or
London sites. The press releases mention 30 minutes and wifi which is certainly
not compatible with a forecourt.
Shell may see the site as a single object but in OSM terms it is several. Fuel,
shop, parking etc.

positioned far enough from the pumps area that a separate node to indicat
