This week's episode showcases the cartographic career of Steve Chilton, and
more importantly his work with and for the OpenStreetMap project over many
years, including his thoughts on the good, and not so good
I saw there was a discussion about vector tiles from OSM (…. at the SOTM 2018
BOF session with Richard Fairhurst?).
I am giving a talk about OSM in June and wondered what the latest situation is.
So, is there any moves to free server space and do the work to generate vector
tiles directly. Like

In fact I would prefer to hand over to OSMUK or some more formal part of the
project, particularly if they have experience of such discussions/negotiations.
I don't know what the level of content is. They market themselves as leading
