Also looking at the historic maps there looks like there's been building
there for quite some time. Midland Road seems to have continued along by
the railway line and up to the end of this properties garden.

Dear All,
Just a quick message to point you all in the direction of the following
post on talk-gb (which I know not everyone is a member of). The link
details a fantastic website designed and built by local mapper Matt

I would be interested if anyone has used any of the android apps:

Hi Brian,
I would tend to agree with you. For HOT it may work well as most of that
mapping is done from aerial imagery by people all over the world. However
for organising local mapping efforts it doesn't work so well. One example
is that you seem to have to divide up tasks by the map
Hi All,
We have spoke about how to extract data from OSM in previous meetings. For

Hi Folks,
My apologies but I won't be able to make it to this months meet-up. :-( I
was hoping to raise the question of getting access to the mappa mercia
server. Have been playing with leaflet and hoping to produce a nice map of
the allotments Brian and others have mapped in the recent
It's a hugely impressive achievement and all credit to those involved.
If you would like to add addresses but don't have the time to trace all
buildings, you can make use of addr:interpolation tag. Basically add a node
for the two houses at either end of a road (or corner with an adjoining
Hi All,
Just a quick reminder that the next social meet up for OSMers in the
Midlands is this Thursday (3rd May, 2012) 8pm-ish to 10pm-ish at The White

before meeting in the pub (you can indicate this at
