Hi,

With the formation of the Irish Free State, the lands, powers and obligations 
of the crown here were transferred to the new state. The name "royal demense" 
is not in current use. That said, other historical boundaries are mapped on 
OSM, e.g. Dublin City boundary in 1900

If this refers to areas like the Phoenix Park, these areas are now owned by the 
Office of Public Works (previously known as the Commissioners of Public Works) 
under the Phoenix Park Act, 1925

users, e.g. zoo, American embassy retain some rights.

Came across an old article which talked about royal demense areas in
Dublin, in the 1930's. Are they still areas used in planning?
