I have used the Georeferencer plugin in QGIS to reference the four sheets of John Rocque's map of Dublin City and Environs of 1750s. I have four separate projects. I have permission to add these to hollinshead (dot) net/maps/dublinhistoric and to an OSM.ie page if thought desirable.
