Because the search facility was made by an English speaker for English
language where it is definitely not a likely thing to do.

I tried to look for one, with Hebrew characters. Say hapalmach, or
ha-lamed-he (in Givataim). When written in Hebrew, it is customary
to include double quote character within the name.
