I am mostly computer illiterate. Also I dont have time or expertise.
Something - anything - is better than nothing (the current state). Can the
speed information in GPS tracks be used to create a map. Most of my tracks
are created when traveling in some vehicle (train, jeep etc.)

If the tracks are already uploaded, i can help out in tracing them into
ways. You would just need to tag them appropriately since i really would not
know what kind of a path it is.

It is rather difficult to create maps out of GPS tracks without familiarity
of that area.
It is easy to edit the maps yourself with the web interface.
