Actually I think the correct translation is "National Transport

Hi Christoph,
For the FOSS4G event in Europe we face the same issue, so it is
specifically referred to as "FOSS4G Europe" to avoid any political
assumptions.

Hi James, maybe upload another version of that email with those private
email addresses removed. Just to respect everyone's privacy (even
mailing list archives remove all sender email addresses). Openness is
great, but we must be careful.

Thank you for the update Paul, I am excited to try the improved MSVC
compiler support soon. (I am currently upgrading to Visual Studio 2015,
from an old 2008)

Hi Sam,
You had brought me into a previous 'WMS' thread, and I responded by
asking you 'does OSM have servers where I can setup MapServer?'. As I
don't know the OSM project that well, can someone let me know if the OSM
project has an existing infrastructure for this?
What servers are used
closely with
the OSM community.
For example, it would be great if OSGeo can use OSM infrastructure, and
OSM use OSGeo infrastructure. Or is this already happening? (again
another topic for the main OSM mailing list???)

Hi Steve,
I now live in Nova Scotia, I'm a geomatics guy, I'd love to help with
this NRN-NS import, but I'm a rookie as the OSM thing (but I want to
learn!). Are you going to yield to a hardened OSM veteran, or is there
room for a rookie like me to help? Let me know.
