AFAIK a split is handled correctly in JOSM, but you have to be
careful when you merge 2 way segments as you advice. Besides making
sure that the tags are the same on both segments, you should also
check whether the relations are the same.

Omdat ik ook de wikidata items zelf creëeer raadpleeg ik Onroerend
Erfgoed en the ODIS databank.
Wat me nu opvalt is dat beiden als naam telkens "parochiekerk" ervoor

AFAIK, there are no tools that support this relation. So moving an
attribute (e.g. name) from the way to the relation will break all data
consumers (renderer, Nominatim, etc.) that read names on ways.

Ik heb vorige maand ook wel wat changesets met Mapillary gemapped,
maar het heeft me veel tijd gekost om die foto's de vinden die ik wou
mappen.
Als ik dat vergelijk met de tijd die ik moet spenderen om door mijn
eigen foto's te gaan, zie ik veel tijdverlies.
Ik geef toe dat je misschien meer tijd
Even voor alle duidelijkheid, als je het hebt over Mapillary tag,
bedoel je dan een tag op de foto op de Mapillary site, of een OSM tag
die verwijst naar een Mapillary foto ?
Het is inderdaad gemakkelijk voor iemand die niet meer het huis uit

op Mapillary waar ik niks mee aanvang. En het vinden van een foto waar
iets op staat dat ik de moeite vind, duurt me te lang. En dikwijls is
de cruciale foto net onscherp, is ze geblurred etc.
Ik vraag me af of er veel mappers
nadruk op navigatie.

Mapillary staat gewoon verder in zijn ontwikkeling. Ze zijn al langer
bezig. Vooral het browsen / navigeren door het resultaat is "mooier"
bij hen.
Zij stellen wel de foto's ter beschikking van anderen (bv Bing dacht
ik), terwijl Telenav (bedrijf achter OpenStreetCam) enkel focussed op
OSM.
I'm now trying to clean up the wikidata / wikipedia tags on
administrative boundaries in Belgium. One of the problems seems that
nyuriks automatically (?) added wikidata tags [1] without making sure
the wikipedia tags were placed correctly in OSM.
