I have no problems with your proposed edits as long as you don't
modify is_in tags in places=*. Please document your progress in the
wiki.

Here are my planned edits:
1. Change swimming pool tags (from amenity=swimming_pool to
leisure=swimming_pool) and polygonize swimming pool POI's ; will be initially
implemented in CAL
