I would like to bring together some newbies to experienced people to
help everyone
get things done.
I would be happy to find a venue, supply snacks, etc..
Here are some of the questions I have been asked to get a feel for some
experience that would be helpful.
I will go through the FAQ's and arc

I'm certain these islands and atolls exist, and that it is a problem with
the Yahoo imagery. All of the publicly accessible satellite imagery seems
to be of variable resolution, depending on the perceived importance of the
area in question (or other factors), so it isn't too surprising that barren

the Hawaiian Islands. The islet appears in the imported PGS coastline data
and in the recently imported TIGER boundary data. But even at maximum zoom,
the islet doesn't appear in the Yahoo satellite imagery. I was hoping
I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree here. Different countries

I found the following quote (line breaks added by me):
In the 2007 TIGER/Line Shapefiles, the following areas had not

Lanaʻi:
This is a small island with a relatively limited road network, concentrated
mostly in a single small, central town. It looks like there has been
extensive manual editing of the road network, and it seems to correspond
fairly well to the satellite photos.
