If there are GIS-savvy people who are authoritative (even -ish) regarding Great
Lakes Circle Tours (Bicycle), please drop a line maybe here or maybe at

I live in Michigan and regularly drive US 2 in the Upper Peninsula.
The Lake Michigan route isn't signed in any sort of meaningful way.

it has been selected and is maintained by MDOT and is officially designated and
cataloged by AASHTO as USBR 10.

The Great Lakes Circle Tour (http://greatlakescircletour.org/) organization is
the source on these signs. They are found scattered around the great lakes,
and we see a few Lake Michigan Circle Tour signs around Lake Michigan, but I
sure wouldn't want to try to navigate just based on the signs.
Thanks, Kerry. Research continues on my part. Maybe additional/better data
get entered into OSM as network=rcn or network=icn route=bicycle relations,
though I myself am taking a "go slow, get to be more 'in the know'" approach.
Keeping my eyes open and in listening mode.
