would be Berlin, Germany. I think there are a lot of arguments supporting
that. I have repeatedly heard that it has the biggest and most lively tango
scene outside of BsAs and also seen that there is a lot of exchange
happeni
The Argentines in my city all learned tango in the States. Some have hosted
milongas. They have danced in BsAs, but I've never heard them complain about
the milongas here after they've returned. Maybe because their friends are
here. Maybe those BsAs teachers just don't have friends in the US

Denver was already a US mecca, created painstakingly over time by
great teachers and lovers of the dance like Tom Stermitz. It takes
great teachers, who teach to good music, and great milongas, which
play good music to make a good scene (let alone a mecca). I heard
there were few opportunities t
I'm emboldened to add based on Shahrukh's message. It's a very strong
statement to call Boulder a mecca just because of one couple. Suppose you
don't like the couple's style of dancing or teaching? There's also the issue
of convenience of getting there.
