yup, waktu install pertama kali memang kelupaan nggak masukkan pilihan "Kernel Development".
krn itulah pengin nanyakan kalau kalau ... ada tools utk bikin source kernel dari system yg sudah running. tapi ternyata memang nggak ada. jadinya ya ... download source kernel lagi. dan saya pilih yg RPM dan sama versinya, biar langsung match dg konfig yg ada saat ini. http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/redhat/9/i386/kernel-source-2.4.20-8.i386.html kmd dicompile dan buat ".config" lagi. trus bikin tambahan menu di GRUB, kalau gagal, biar masih bisa refer ke kernel yg lama. tapi ternyata problem PCMCIA card saya di notebook Toshiba Satellite 2540XCDT tetap nggak hilang walau pun sudah install dan ngoprek "pcmcia-cs-3.2.7". http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net/ftp/ ternyata masalahnya bukan di software, tapi ada di BIOSnya Toshiba. skr mau share nih ... saya dapatkan clue-nya di sini: http://www.geocities.com/yacarf/toshib.txt "PCMCIA problems --------------- If you get this error : PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin A of device 00:13.0.
