I would suggest creating a Wiki page to thrash out the design.
I really think its worth exploring the avenue of the ILinkRenderer. A change
like that would primarily occur in the framework ... the PopupLinkRenderer
would go into eithe the framework or contrib.

I never got an answer regarding what you want to do about redesigning the
Poplink (kicking it up a notch). Do you want to:
a) debate the design and when the dust settles, I'll implement it
b) discuss this issue on some other channel (Wiki?)
c) punt until some later date
d) wait for the c
At Howard's suggestion, I've started thinking about reimplementing the
current PopLink as a "wrapper" to the existing dynamic Tapestry link types,
something along the lines of Rollover.
