players vid, so many different styles, all excellent, a real treat. I
suppose I put technique in the realm of fancy finger work, dexterity,
fine work with the pick, good coordination between the two hands.

What is technique? I thought it was a way of enabling one to express
oneself better, and more closely to one's desire of how that thought
should be expressed. Expression without technique can be good, a la
capn beefheart, but tecnique without expression should be an olympic
sport.

This is one of my favorites. I listen to it regularly on my dvd. This is truly
a magnificent musician. I can only dream of playing like tony.

I find myself in complete agreement with Mr. Huffmaster... and own the

This is only partially true. This board was started by a 50+ year old
