Hello all,
I have encountered a huge bug in virtual folders. Can't say from which
version it exists, but until recently everything seemed to be fine.
The problem is that folders watched by virtual folders are taken from
wrong account.
Suppose I have two accounts one of which contains virtual folder:
Account1
Inbox
Outbox
Sent
Trash
[MailingList]
Account2
Inbox
Outbox
Sent
Trash
[MailingList] is watching Account1/Inbox. One day all mail in
[MailingList] is gone (mails exist in real folders though).
I checked my settings, and it occurred to me that [MailingList]
actually watches Account2/Inbox! I corrected that, but after
confirming the change and re-opening settings window, It's back to
wrong account.
It isn't so that it doesn't remember settings though. I set
[MailingList] to watch Account1/Sent and Account1/Outbox, confirmed,
re-opened settings and what do I see? Account2/Sent and
Account2/Outbox.
Crazy.
What's even "funnier".
After setting a VF to watch account1 and confirming that in settings I
see it seems to be watching account2, the real behavior of a VF is so:
--it watches Account2 (probably without any annoyances, except that is
it a wrong account)
--it watches Account1 too (!!!) -- but only until I refresh the
folder.
So, if new mail arrives to Account1/Inbox, it is shown (if it
matches further filter options, of course) in [MailingList].
So, if new mail arrives to Account2/Inbox, it is shown (if it
matches further filter options, of course) in [MailingList].
If I refresh [MailingList] only mails from Account2/Inbox stay.
And I repeat: at the beginning I set it to watch Account2/Inbox only.
NOW. Anyone with same problem?
