I'm taking the plunge. I'm going to test the latest beta (or whatever
*you* like to call it; I don't want to start yet another debate).
Should I simply unpack all files in 3.0.9.13 in the Bat program
directory?
Are any special backup precautions advisable?

Yes, but before make a valid backup of TheBat! There are many bug (see
mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]) none of them seems to be
