Hello TB! beta testers with all this big improvements in the Beta 1.42 series (new message base, many long standing bugs corrected), there is perhaps the time for a major jump in the version number. I would propose 1.50, but as RIT Labs don't seem to like numbers ending in zero (quoting Max: "We've jumped from 1.39 to 1.41 to avoid trailing zeros - they are sometimes treated as milestones."), we could settle to 1.51 ;-) There would be another advantage: many TB! are used to just copy a new version over the old one. Now with the new message base and the potential problems of converting (not that i think there are still major problems with the conversion), skipping some numbers could help indicating that it is more than just "another new version".
